All bookings are subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions.
We understand that you are here to enjoy yourselves, we ask only that people respect and abide by these t&c at all times to make sure everyone has a pleasant and safe stay.
The person making the booking accepts the contract on behalf of all the members of the party, and is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms and conditions.
We can accept bookings via email/telephone/website booking enquiry. We will complete a booking form with you and ask for a *non-refundable deposit to be paid by debit card or bank transfer to secure your booking. Once the payment has been received we will issue a confirmation of booking email.
Your booking is only confirmed on receipt of completed booking form and deposit.
Remaining balance is payable on arrival.
If you need to cancel your booking please notify us as soon as possible.
*deposits will not be refunded or transferred on bookings cancelled later than 7 days before arrival date.
We require 1 months’ notice of cancellation for full refund to be given. A £5.00 handling fee will be charged.
We will transfer deposit of hire for any booking that is cancelled up to 1 week prior to arrival date. This can be used throughout the current season excluding bank holidays.
Exact pitches can be requested and although every effort will be made to reserve them, they cannot be guaranteed.
On the day of arrival, check-in is between 13.00 hrs – 20.00 hrs. Notification of late arrivals should be given in advance.
On the day of departure the check-out time is 12.00 hrs. Failure to depart on time affects the arrival of incoming guests.
Refunds will not be given for vacating the pitch prior to the arranged departure date.
While the park welcomes pets, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. The dog is the responsibility of its owner, no responsibility will be taken by the park for any damage caused by it. Dogs should not be left unattended on the pitch or anywhere else on the park. Dogs are not allowed to access the amenity block or the children’s play park. They must also be kept away from neighbouring livestock. Fouling in any area should be cleared up immediately and disposed of in the dog waste bins provided.
Fire regulations stipulate that only one car per pitch is permitted. Additional cars/visitors cars must be parked in the main car park. Any commercial vehicles brought onsite by holidaymakers must be parked as directed by the park manager.
The speed limit throughout the park is 10mphand this is monitored and enforced by our staff to ensure the safety of everyone onsite, including children at play.
We have a barrier on site which is locked between the hours of 22.30hrs – 07.00hrs, the barrier will only be opened in the case of an emergency. At check in you will be provided with an emergency mobile contact number. If you return to the park after the barrier is closed you must park in the car park and walk to your pitch. All visitors who will be leaving after the barrier is closed are expected to park their car in the car park opposite reception so they do not get locked in.
For health and safety reasons the toilet and shower block is closed for cleaning, times are displayed therein.
No chemical waste, sanitary products or similar may be flushed down toilets or drains, our park sewage system like many others relies on natural bacterial processes. We request that our guests use minimal amounts of detergents, washing powders and anti-bacterial cleaners. All chemical waste must be disposed of at the chemical waste points. We ask that customers do not fill their chemical toilets with chemical on our grass as spillage causes the grass to burn.
As we are a family park, group bookings or unsupervised young groups (under 21 years) are not accepted.
Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of children in their party whilst on the park. Ball games are not permitted near vehicles or parked units, we have a designated ball playing area at the children’s playpark. Children must not play around or in the amenity blocks or motorhome service bay. We ask that parents/guardians ensure the playpark and ball area is vacated no later than 21.30 hrs.
All guests are expected to behave in a civil manner towards other holidaymakers on the park. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum to avoid disturbance to other park guests, we ask that the playing of music after 22.00 hrs is inside only with all doors and windows closed. No noise will be tolerated after 23.00 hrs. Any behaviour the park manager deems inappropriate or any breach of these conditions may result in immediate termination of the booking, without any refund or compensation.
BBQ’s are permitted when placed outside and raised off the ground (concrete blocks are provided from reception). They must be fully extinguished before placing in the bin. BBQ’s must never be used indoors (including tents and awnings) and must be extinguished before 22.00hrs. Open fires of any nature are strictly prohibited.
The park reserves the right to refuse admission to the park and/or to ask any persons to leave. We reserve the right to terminate the booking where we feel that the comfort and enjoyment of other guests may be put at risk.
The following are not permitted:
- Sleeping in vehicles that are not made for that use.
- Exceeding your caravan, motorhome, or tents occupancy, we do not allow people to sleep in awnings.
In exceptional circumstances, we may have to cancel or amend your booking. If we do so we will notify you as soon as possible and you can choose either to accept any alternative arrangements offered to you.
Any accidents or injuries sustained on the park must be reported to reception immediately.
While every effort will be made by us to fulfil the contract, except where stated in the conditions, we shall not be liable for any changes, cancellations, effects of your holiday, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by us to properly perform any of our obligations to you which is due to any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, e.g. fire, flood, exceptional weather, epidemics, and all similar situations. We cannot be held responsible for the failure of water, electricity, drainage or other mains services beyond our immediate control.
Whilst taking all reasonable precautions, the park is not liable for any loss or damage to any vehicle or belongings nor for any injury whatsoever to any person whilst on the park, unless caused directly by the negligence of an employee. Customers are wholly liable for any repairs, cleaning or replacements required to any park property damaged during their stay. Any such damage must be reported to reception.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
While every care is taken to ensure that the details in our website and online booking system are correct at time of being published, we cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or results thereof.
Our aim is to ensure all our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. If you have any concerns about your holiday whilst staying with us please report to reception immediately and we will respond as soon as possible. We will not be responsible for any matter, which you knew about during your stay but did not inform us about during your stay.
We reserve the right to vary these conditions at our discretion.
